Stretchy Wraps
We have included lots of manufacturer specific instructions here, you can use all stretchy wraps in the standard Pocket Wrap Cross Carry positions, other positions are shown in some instructions. Some include a cradle carry, if you choose to try this position for feeding or otherwise, we recommend that you take extra care to regularly check babies position and airway. Woven Wraps
We have included lots of manufacturer specific instructions below, most show how to do a basic Front Wrap Cross Carry with a long woven wrap. Depending on what size wrap you have hired and what position you would like to carry your baby in, these may or may not be suitable. Ring Slings
While we have provided lots of manufacturer specific instructions here, all Ring Slings work in the same way, so if you can’t find your specific brand here, have a look through some others and find a set of instructions that works for you. As a general rule an upright, centred front carry is suitable from newborn, moving around to the hip as baby grown. Ring Slings can be used for a cradle carry and many of the manufacturers below include instructions on how to do that, if you choose to try this position for feeding or otherwise, we recommend that you take extra care to regularly check babies position and airway.
